Welcome to Saucon Valley Foundation
for Educational Innovation

The Saucon Valley Foundation for Educational Innovation was established in 2007 by a group of community and business leaders who recognize that the quality of an education system and the vitality of he community it serves are intertwined. These residents want to ensure the continued success of our current students, as well as that of future generations. The Foundation’s mission is to achieve and maintain innovative excellence by employing private resources to supplement traditional classroom funding.

This mosaic of Van Gogh's Starry Night was constructed by students and now hangs in the Elementary School. Funds for the creative project came from a grant from the Foundation. (photo by Susan Kennedy).

Our focus is to encourage innovation through creative teaching, to facilitate student development and to foster community and school partnerships. The Foundation will fund major projects but will also enable faculty members to undertake numerous innovative classroom projects at all grade levels by awarding small grants.
